The project is located 7 km north of the city of Tartous on the Syrian coast (see map). The location has been chosen to capitalize on the importance of Tartous, which is a first class tourist attraction thanks to its beautiful surroundings and its rich historical heritage. The province of Tartous is full of historical sites dating from the Phoenicians to the middle ages, and there are many outstanding castles dating to the times of the crusaders as the area was the last place from which the crusaders left the region in the 13th century. Next to the coastline of Tartous lies the beautiful island of Arwad, which is the only inhabited island on the Syrian coastline and is a very important tourist attraction.

Finally, it remains to be said that besides the rich history and natural beauty of the area, the project is strategically positioned to be the closest beach resort to all major Syrian cities and within close relative proximity to neighboring countries such as Cyprus, Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Iraq.

As mentioned before the project site is located 7 km north of Tatous adjacent to the main coastal highway linking Damascus to Tartous and Lattakia. The overall area of the project is 270,000 squared meters with 550 meters of sandy clean shoreline. Moreover, the site contains several natural water spring, which in addition to domestic use, will be utilized to form a water stream flowing across the project area adding to the beauty of the landscape.
