Summerland-Tartous is a limited liability company established by the private sector in Syria to build and operate one of the largest seaside resorts in the country. The $80 million will be built in three phases and the first phase is expected to be operational by 2010. Upon completion, the resort will have more than 800 chalets that can be purchased, rented or time-shared.
